People often ask me how much of my own life I put into my stories. Well, I am a dog lover and one of my dogs has been named ‘sniffy dog’ by one of my grandsons. The dog is really called Bonnie, and I found her on a country road. No owners came forward and no chip, so I kept her. She was in a bad way; really hungry and sad. Now, she’s put on weight and is able to sniff out a treat at a hundred yards! I’ll tell you more about her another time.

I think your children are going to like the way events unfold, and the way Sniffer’s nose leads him into all sorts of trouble that children can relate to. This is a fun book and I hope you and your children enjoy it.
